PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASE
 
All of our cattle are pasture raised and locally butchered. They are fed a mix of local vegetation, hay, and grain during the winter momths.
Reserve your beef now for butcher in May 2026! You will be able to choose your preferred cuts and packaging. Our cattle are sold by hanging weight, prior to bone removal, at $6.00 per pound. Butchering costs for cut and wrap are $0.95 per pound. NOTE: Specialty cuts are not available for quarter shares.
Our butcher is 4 Star Meat Company in Eugene on Prairie Road. Beef share owners will choose their own cuts prior to harvest by calling or filling out the butcher's online form. See https://www.4starmeat.com/ for more information.
All pre-orders require a nonrefundable deposit to be subtracted from the final hanging weight price (paid to Faerber Farms LLC).
When shares have been harvested, Faerber Farms LLC will send the share owners invoices via email or text.  The final weights will be determined by the butcher and invoiced within 48 hours. These invoices must be paid to Faerber Farms LLC seven (7) days after they are sent and prior to picking up from 4 Stars Meat Company or delivery. 
Shares must be picked up from 4 Stars Meat Company within five (5) days of pickup notice or late fees may be incurred. Share owners will pay final butchering fees to 4 Star Meat Company at time of pickup (or to Faerber Farms LLC if delivered). 
Optional delivery is available Thrift Faerber Farms LLC for am additional $50 in Lane County. Date & time of delivery to be determined between Faerber Farms LLC and customer. The delivery fee and butcher fees must be paid to Faerber Farms LLC prior to delivery.

Nonrefundable Share Deposit: $500 whole / $250 half / $125 quarter
Slaughter and Disposal Fees: $250 whole / $125 half / $62.50 quarter
Hanging weight: $6 per pound

Standard: $0.95 per pound
 
Cost Example - Whole Share (*this is not a garauntee of weights and prices):
Share Deposit = $500
600 lb hanging weight × $6 = $3600
Mobile Slaughtering Fee = $250
400 lb meat @ standard cut = $380
TOTAL COST = $4230
To Faerber Farms LLC = $3600
To 4 Star Meat Company = $630
